1/17/2012 - Five Year Old Killed by Hit and Run Driver

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers would like your helping solving a 30 year old unsolved hit and run that took the life of a five year old Beaumont Girl.

On Wednesday, January 6, 1982 at 4:42pm, Five year old Kelly Baumgarte was playing in her front yard in the 1000 block of Iris.

Witnesses said a possible 1970`s model dark brown Pontiac with a white male driver, approximately mid to late 30`s, with a beard, made a left turn and went wide right. The vehicle jumped the curb, then struck and killed Kelly. The driver drove away without stopping to check on her. The vehicle was last seen North on Dowlen from Daisy.

For 30 years, Kelly`s family has waited for closure and deserves justice for the careless and traumatic loss of their precious daughter.

12/27/2011 - Possible Homicide Suspect (72 year old female victim)

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs your help identifying a black female that used a 72 year old Homicide victim`s debit card.

On Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 1:30 am, a black female wearing a large red jacket, a white hat and jeans, entered Fastlane at Major and Phelan and used Robbie Rae Allen`s debit card. Robbie Rae was found murdered in her home in the 6700 block of Prutzman on Friday, December 16th.

Beaumont Police Investigators need to speak with the black female about her connection to Robbie Rae Allen.

12/20/2011 - Homicide -72 year old female at 6700 Prutzman

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs your help with a Homicide that occurred in the 6700 block of Prutzman.

On Friday, December 16, 2011 at 12:07 pm, First Responders were called to 6758 Prutzman to help family members get inside the apartment and check on 72 year old Robbie Rae Allen, white female from Beaumont,. Beaumont Fire made entry and discovered Allen was deceased. Investigations revealed that she had been murdered in her home.

12/20/2011 - Burglary- 3974 Eastex- United Check Cashing

      This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying a black male suspect, who burglarized the United Check Cashing business located at 3974 Eastex.

On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at approximately 1:30 a.m.  A black male suspect wearing all black, with a black doo rag, and white tennis shoes broke in through the rear door of a vacant business that is directly next to United Check Cashing. This business is attached to the United Check Cashing business.

While inside, the suspect cut a hole into the sheet rock leading into the United Check Cashing business. At this point, the suspect ransacked the business, before exiting through the same entry point. Video surveillance captured the suspect commit the crime.

The black male in this picture used a stolen lone star card on 11-18 at the Market Basket on Lavaca to purchase what appears to be an entire Thanksgiving feast. 11/29/2011 - Burglary of Country Home and Ranch Business in Jefferson County

The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office is requesting the publics assistance in locating the actor(s) responsible for the burglary of the Country Home and Ranch Store located at 2862 Hwy 69 (by Spurlock Rd), Nederland, Texas.

On Friday, November 18th, at 04:46 am the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office was notified of a burglary at the Country Home and Ranch Store. The owner stated that unknown individuals entered the store by shattering a side door. Once inside the door the suspects removed the following items:

                  7     Stihl Back Pack Blowers

                  5     Stihl Edgers

                23      Stihl Weedeaters

                  2     Stihl Electric Hedge Trimmers

                  1     Stihl Pole Saw

                20      Stihl Chain Saws

All the Stihl lawn equipment was new and can be identified by its orange and white color. Total value of the items stolen is $18,000.

Anyone that has knowledge of this crime or has been approached to purchase any of this lawn equipment should contact Crimestoppers at 409-833-TIPS.

The owner has offered to enhance the reward offer through Crimestoppers with Reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

11/1/2011 - Aggravated Robbery at Family Dollar

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs your help identifying a suspect that committed an aggravated robbery at the Family Dollar Store in the 4800 block of Highland.

On Friday, October 28, 2011 at 3:56pm, the manager stated she observed a 6` tall black male with a mustache, wearing an orange hat and a black jacket, throw an orange laundry bag full of merchandise under a clothes rack. The manager grabbed the bag and the suspect pulled a knife out and demanded she let him go. She yelled for a coworker and the suspect attempted to run out of the store. The coworker tackled the suspect and they wrestled on the floor. The manager saw another black male, wearing a white shirt, white hat and white pants, exit a silver Jeep SUV that was occupied by two other black males in the parking lot. The second male approached the coworker and suspect. The suspect was able to get away from the employee. Both males got into the Jeep and it fled east on Iowa.

10/18/2011 - Aggravated Robbery at WalMart

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs your help with an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at WalMart.

On Wednesday, 10-12-11  at 5:08pm,  officers were dispatched to 4145 Dowlen Rd (WalMart) in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. A 64 year old white female stated she had just walked out of WalMart and started putting groceries in the trunk of her car.  She was parked no more than 250ft from the entrance when an unknown black male subject came from behind, put a gun to the side of her head and demanded she give him her purse. She refused to give it to him so he yanked it off her shoulders and she fell to the ground.

Witnesses helped her up and described the suspect as a black male, medium brown complexion, approximately 5`9", 175lbs to 195lbs.  He was wearing a White t-shirt with Tan colored shorts and a Red rag on his head.  The suspect got into the backseat of a Gold colored Saturn. The driver was described as a black male with a dark complexion, heavy set, and had a short  beard.
The vehicle fled the area on Old Dowlen Rd and went toward HWY 105.

10/11/2011 - Crime of the Week 10-11-2011

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs your help locating the owner of three animals involved in a tragic animal cruelty case.

On Thursday, September 28th at 3:00pm, officers with Beaumont Animal Services were called to the 400 block of Manning in reference to a dying horse. Officers found a Bay Gelding that lay dying in a vacant field along with two emaciated Pit Bulls that were chained to trees near the horse. Two veterinarians were called to the scene. The suffering horse was given medication and IV fluids, but was so emaciated that it had to be euthanized at the scene. Bmt. Animal Services seized the two starving Pit Bulls but were unable to locate the owners.

9/27/2011 - Radio Shack Theft

This week Beaumont Crime Stoppers needs you help identifying a black female that stole over $2,000 worth of cell phones from Radio Shack in Parkdale Mall.

On July 10, 2011 at approximately 2:34pm and on July 11, 2011 at approximately 12:33pm, a black female entered the office area of Radio Shack. She slid the security wire to one side and slid her hand inside and removed a total of 5 cell phones valued at over $2,000. The female is not an employee and the store manager did not recognize her.
